Translation from English to Moroccan Arabic Darija

About this awesome website

About

MyDarija.com was created by Youssef Sarik. He is Moroccan-American. Youssef had the idea to create MyDarija.com because Modern Standard Arabic is not commonly spoken in Morocco. Many people in Morocco speak Darija, a modified form of Arabic, as their everyday language.

He created this website to help people who are thinking about visiting Morocco. He thought it was a great idea to create a website and app that will be very helpful for travelers or communicating with friends and family. He understands how hard it is for someone to go to a different country and re-learn what everything means. Learning basic information about a place you will visit is very important. With MyDarija.com, at least you will have an idea about what is being said.

Communication is key in solving a lot of problems. I wish you good luck if you have any questions, feel free to contact him. Email: mydarija@yahoo.com

There are a lot of pages including: quizzes, verbs, special words, idioms, etc… the list goes on and on. On the special words page there are numbers with examples.
