Moroccan Sellou (sfouf) for Ramadan
Sellou is a treat consumed in Morocco. It is created by using cooked flour, almonds, sesame seeds, and a variety different nuts. Moroccan sellou is one of the significant dishes used during Ramadan.

- 3 1/3 cups roasted sesame seeds (1/2 kg)
- 3 3/4 cups flour (1kg)
- 3 1/3 cups roasted ground almond (1/2kg)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 cups butter (1/4kg)
- 1/2 cup honey (150 grams)
Put the flour in a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake it until it becomes slightly brown. Stir it occasionally so all the flour changes color.Put the cooked flour on a large plate. Add roasted almonds, sesame seeds, and cinnamon. Add butter, mixing it well.Add honey and mix again. Place it on a plate and decorate it with almonds.Bon appetit!
